automatic gifts

An automatic gift is a gift in a form of a monthly withdrawal from your bank account. For the equivalent of the price of only a few fancy coffee shop coffees per month, you can regularly invest in making a difference in Imperial. These monthly contributions are simple to set up and require only a one-time authorization to your bank.

beneficiary designation

Designating the Imperial Community Foundation Fund as the beneficiary of a bank account, life insurance policy, retirement plan or annuity is a powerful way of making a gift at a low cost and without a major change of lifestyle. As an example, a beneficiary designation on a life insurance policy allows you to make a very substantial gift at the low cost of paying the monthly premiums of the policy. Typically, these gifts allow you to maintain control of the asset during your lifetime and gift the asset when it is no longer needed.
