Quality of Life is a valued aspect for people in Imperial and the surrounding area. The Imperial Community Foundation was formed in 1999 to protect and enrich the quality of life in the Imperial area by providing a means to charitably support the Imperial area and its people meeting the unforeseen needs of the future.

The Imperial Community Foundation's Mission is:

"To accumulate, invest and distribute funds to provide for the enhancement of the community of Imperial and the surrounding area."

This mission will be administered through:

• Providing means for citizens to give something back to the community they love.
• Supporting and strengthening local non-profit organizations.
• Need identification and strategic grant making in the areas of human services, education, environment, art, culture, recreation and civic improvements.
• Building an endowment to help meet future community needs for generations to come.
